I wasn&#39;t telling him anything new when I mentioned that that openoffice.org could save districts across the state tons of cash -he said he&#39;d been pushing it for years! Education leaders have to not only understand that there&#39;s an &#39;open world&#39; out there, but they have to understand that they&#39;re obligated to learn about it and take advantage of it, because they&#39;re obligated to be responsible with taxpayer dollars.
